As the name goes, this is the forum to pull out that "purest golden thread" from among all that are nearly as pure as the purest. Information quotient, the hub of the future, along with the IQ and the EQ are sure to be the defining elements in such a separation. It sure is a tough task but is a treat to watch as Individuals are put through a barrage of questions that test their technical know-how's, adaptability, ingenuity, stress and resource management. This event is the largest and the most prestigious individual event and the pride and glamour at stake is tremendous. It is bound to be on an engineer's mind to know who and why is the BEST of his clan and this inquisitiveness causes every engineer in the vicinity to be a witness to this stunner of an event.
Rules
This event consists of five rounds of which two are off-stage and three are on-stage. At the end of the fifth round one Best Engineer will be selected.
OFF-STAGE:
Round 1
This round consists of a preliminary written test.
The test will examine the technical knowledge (with respect to your stream of engineering), thinking ability, aptitude, reasoning skills and IQ of the participants.
The qualified participants will be tested in the round 2.
Round 2
The participants who cleared round 1 will have a group discussion in this round.
The norms for the group discussions will be followed.
ON-STAGE:
Round 3
This is an introduction round.
The participant has to introduce himself, his goals to the wide audience and judges.
You are responsible for the details provided by you since you will be questioned on the basis of those details!!!
Round 4
This round is to check how good you are at responding to a critical situation.
The participant is provided with a situation and he has to respond to that situation.
Round 5
This is named as Questionnaire round.
The selected participants will have to answer the technical questions fired at them.
At the end one who is standing the best amidst the rest will be selected as “The Best Engineer”.
