"META FIGHTERS"

MAKING BETTER ...BETTER!!!
In this 21st century thriving with technology man has metamorphosed. From concepts to complete integration and beyond, the human race has evolved as we strive and reach into the future with ROBOTICS.
THE FIRST LAW OF ROBOTICS:
"A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm."
THE SECOND LAW OF ROBOTICS:
"A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law."

Contest Schedule

The Meta Fighters exhibition will commence at 9 am on Feb 1.
The Meta Fighters presentation and group discussion session will be on Feb 2 afternnon.

Lead In

The main objective of this contest is to check the originality of the robot design. The designing team can state the various problems the robot can counteract or the various applications of the design. Designs with multiple applications will be appraised better. There is no constraint regarding the dimensions of the robot (i.e. it can be of any size) and the power supply.

Rules

Each team can contain a maximum of three members.
All team members should provide a valid mail id(with alternate id's if possible) and contact numbers(mobile numbers preferred) along with the abstract.
The list of short listed designs are available.
All shortlisted teams and waitlisted teams should email the MetaFighters_Form and a soft copy of the detailed report on their robot to robotics@kriya08.org on or before Jan 26th.
If unable to send the detailed report, it should be notified via e-mail, clearly stating the reasons.
Readymade toys and robot kits will not be allowed.
Short listed contestants must bring valid id cards.

Report Details

The Report(to be mailed by short-listed teams and teams under waiting list) should contain the following

Robot Name
A complete circuit diagram of the robot with proper explanation.
A photograph of the robot.
Contact information(name, e-mail id and mobile number) of all team members.

Judging Criteria

Points will be awarded by the judges based on the

Originality of the bot.
Applications of the bot.
Explanation by the team.
Other factors like cost, size etc (only in case of deadlocks).

The designing team should impress the audience too as they will also have a vote in the judging process. The decision of the judges will be final.
