Roaring monsters, speeding cheetahs, climbing terrors, drifting kings and flying aliens!!! This is what Oversteer is all about. To pump your adrenalin to the fullest, we are prepared. So are you ready??? From a miniature Bug to a 1:5 scale roaring Baja and the worlds smallest RC are all here at PSG Tech during Kriya 08 for the first time in India. Ever dreamt of watching a car that could make 0 – 100 kmph in just 3 seconds!!! Ever watched a monster truck climbing on lined up cars?? Ever seen a drift car in action?? An electric car that could race a mini cooper?? All that you have in your mind is going to be realized at Kriya 08 by the Mechanical Engineering team!!! And all these are going to happen in a scale that you would have never even thought of!!!
About the Workshop
The main motive of this workshop is to induce knowledge about the world of RC cars. This would prove useful to students who have the passion and the thirst for knowledge about cars.
To brief about the workshop, it’s going to be divided into three modules:
A presentation to introduce about the RC world
A model display session where in the all the mechanisms and cut sections of engine and the car will be displayed
A RC Car show to end the workshop in style
Stunt Show
Anyone with a valid ID card can watch the stunt show
The stunt show is for a duration of 45 minutes
All the cars that are participating will be displayed in the track to show its capability
Registration
Students who are interested to participate in the workshop should register online.
Then they should e-mail the response for the questionnaires, given below, that would test their basic knowledge about engines and cars.
The answers for the set of questions should be mailed along with your details tooversteer@kriya08.org by 21st of January
Rules
Out of the received entries limited students will be short listed based on their response and also first come first serve basis.
There is no fee for participants who are selected for the workshop
There is no restriction for watching the RC car stunt show. All are welcome
Students should possess valid ID cards for participation in the workshop
